The GenHome project is developed through four work packages:
WP1 – Development of the Genome Research Resort infrastructure: providing state of the art instruments, bioinformatic resources, trained staff and new techniques for the analysis of the genome and epigenome.
WP2 – Knowledge creation: addressing structural genomics and epigenomics in normal physiological situations, to provide accurate reference information. This WP will develop advanced protocols of analyses.
WP3 – Research: investigating embryo development, fertility, reproduction physiology in livestock species on normal and abnormal experimental condition using the latest genome based methods.
WP4 – Promotion of collaboration at the international levels: establishing collaborative projects, visiting scientists and training activities.
